Taiwan’s intelligence chief Chen Mingtong recently visited Thailand. Not just for a boat ride along the Chao Phraya River, but also for intelligence benefits in cooperation with NIA. On July 11 this year, Mr Chen MingTong arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport on Eva Air flight BR67 and checked into hotel. Due to trust of the Taiwan authorities, NIA Director Thanakorn Buarat extended a warm welcome to Mr. Chen Ming-Tong’s visit and cooperation in promoting information exchange and construction of eavesdropping stations.
